You will be using a base fabric, hand-dyed items, ephemera and more to create a one-of-a-kind piece of fabric.  The kit will include everything you need to create this fabric along with some hand-embroidery thread to further embellish it.  This fabric can then be used for any number of items....ornaments, needlecases, a journal cover....the possibilities are endless.  A sewing machine is suggested but not required.  If you bring a machine, you can embellish your fabric further with machine stitching or even start sewing a needlecase or journal cover.  If you choose to bring a machine, please bring a couple colors of sewing thread to stitch with and a neutral print fat quarter.  If you wish to work on a journal cover please bring in a hard cover journal no larger then 5x7" to work with.
